Pushpa Vatika (the first meet)

Pushpa Vatika
Fair sunlit day of sweet-fated stray,
fancying pinwheels, jasmines, lilies,
breezes past heard you pray,
with intent, one, two, third and plucked
unaware, as all it took
was a glimpse of your expression,
"Divinely," they said, our sights collided,
I knew you before, I'll know you forever,
'twas how I ceased time that day,
the flowers were only an excuse,
thousands of ages, millions of verses,
aphorisms, reminiscences, plays,
all praise-the charms of the holy ways,
the lore thus began, said they,
Slowly, mystically and in a daze,
You held me softly in your gaze,
and took the air, for you had blushed,
leaving me muse in the silver-toned,
fancy anklets that you wore,
to the temple, you were unknown,
Our union, had the stars foretold.
