The Unexpected Funeral.
The unexpected funeral: A humorous short story.
Another day, another bad argument.
Another day, another unpleasant breakfast,
Another day, another rose bloomed,
'nother day, 'nother reason to contemplate on my existence.
It looks perfect on the outside,
On the inside, it's as sucked off blood.
I'm standing here,
I see the casket,
I see the flowers outside.
What a surprise, nobody to attend this person's funeral.
I see someone walking in a black dress,
walkin' towards the casket,
I greet her, as I recognize my old friend,
She says, "It's a pity, no one came. She was a kind, gullible person, her death wasn't unexpected. She's left her body, chosen 'nother."
"Shall I open the casket to bid her goodbye one last time?"
"Sure but you never met her, did you? I forgot to ask why're you here?"
I say, "I'm here because, I loaned her 20 grand."
I opened the casket,
where did the body go?
it's not here?
The mortician saw us,
"That's an empty casket, it's designed for a showpiece."
My friend's face is blank,
"Then where is my mother in law?
I shot her myself, she isn't dead?"
Well, that was just the weirdest day of my life,
I called the cops, my dear friend is in jail for attempted murder.
I thought her mother in law died, but she's doing good despite that.
And the woman who owes me 20k, I'm still searching for you.
