Wheel of life

Till where does the river flow till when the stars surcease to shine So must circle the wheel of life  till when the mountain must stand till when the oceans subsist So must turn the wheel of time till when the body bonds to the soul so long as life exists, and the living be Must art remain, and the feelings flow May the hearts beat in tune with the living and the gifts be spread throughout Love and loss and death and rebirth faith and companion and success and play must each spoke of the wheel turn its way And till when the wheels are given free rein May all the living remain.

Pushpa Vatika (the first meet)

Pushpa Vatika

Fair sunlit day of sweet-fated stray,
fancying pinwheels, jasmines, lilies,
breezes past heard you pray,
with intent, one, two, third and plucked
unaware, as all it took
was a glimpse of your expression,
"Divinely," they said, our sights collided,
I knew you before, I'll know you forever,
'twas how I ceased time that day,
the flowers were only an excuse,
thousands of ages, millions of verses,
aphorisms, reminiscences, plays,
all praise-the charms of the holy ways,
the lore thus began, said they,
Slowly, mystically and in a daze,
You held me softly in your gaze,
and took the air, for you had blushed,
leaving me muse in the silver-toned,
fancy anklets that you wore,
to the temple, you were unknown,
Our union, had the stars foretold.
